it would be great to be able to split tasks assigned, so that for instance you have someone working on a task mon-wed, miss thursday, back on it on friday, without having to create a new task line

Please include this feature, really useful.

To insert recurring or repetitive task

My team spends a lot of time in recurring meetings. I want to more accurately show their availability based around these meetings. Plus, I want to be able to easily create a recurring milestone (like a weekly meeting).

Be able to Create "Recurring Events" in the calendar Tab.

i.e. meetings that we have on a weekly, monthly etc basis.

i.e. planning sessions we have on a weekly, monthly, etc basis

It is too hard to use a task overtime (unless it is auto-recurring) to plug stuff into the calendar. It is just impossible to plan months at a time like this with so much going on. It would save so much time!

Have recurring subtasks on the same line as each other that recur every month or so

Some tasks might have a break in between. E.g., for holidays or simply because you need to wait for something else to finish first

Tasks, that occur on a regular basis such as a jour fixe. Should be one line with multiple timelines / milestones

in gantt view -- A) drag via two break lines or points at opposite ends of each bar -- or B) the ability to click anywhere on the bar and see one or two anchor points -- for a high level view of a task that has many components or stages before finally complete.

2-stage example: "plan" stage, left from the only anchor point to the start point in diagonal stripes, and "execute" stage, as is, one solid color. Can relate to % complete as well, plan 80%, execute 20%.

3-stage example: "Plan", "build" (execute), "plus "test" stage, right from the second anchor point to the end point, in vertical stripes. 30%-50%-20% splits.
